August 7, 2018 The ICS Department is excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Peter Sadowski as a new Assistant Professor. Dr. Sadowski was previously a postdoc at the Institute for Genomics and Bioinformatics in the Computer Science Department at the University of California, Irvine. His research involves applications of machine learning in the natural sciences, including the prediction of chemical reactions and data analysis for high-energy physics. Dr. Sadowski will play an important role in the new Hawaii Data Science Institute.
