Innovation Fellowship Program is for you!
The Novartis Data Science Innovation Fellowship Program is a dedicated pharma
program to train early-career scientists in Data Science and AI for biomedical
research. As a DS Innovation fellow, you will:
- Leverage real-world, biomedical data at scale, unique to Pharmaceutical Research
and Development - Explore cutting-edge methods and models to drive innovation in drug discovery and
development - Become embedded into global multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across
functions and geographies - Benefit from a tailored training program, with built-in time for mini-sabbatical,
biomedical conferences & workshops, to grow as a leader - Share your work within Novartis and beyond, and make an impact in biomedical
research with real-world applications for patients
The program is open to talented PhD graduates from diverse areas and backgrounds,
with a significant proficiency in Data Science and AI. The program duration is 2 – 3 years.
DS Innovation Fellows will join our research sites in Basel (CH) and Cambridge (US), with
opportunities for cross-site co-mentorship. The program scope covers chemical and
biological data from a variety of sources spanning the preclinical-clinical continuum, as well
as health data, medical data, biobanks, and real-world evidence.
