Hacking for Intelligence (H4I) Pilot Summer Program
The National Security Agency (NSA) is offering a unique opportunity for students to participate in a Hacking for Intelligence (H4I) pilot this Summer. The pilot will help to inform and influence the launch of NSA’s H4I credit course in 2024, which will be offered at University of Hawaiʻi through the Office of Innovation and Commercialization in partnership with NSA and the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN). The 2024 H4I program will leverage learnings from this pilot along with current NSIN College of Engineering and ICS Hacking 4X programming.
Starting in late June/July, the H4I pilot is a free five-week program (noncredit), hosted virtually one day per week for two hours. Students from participating universities will be grouped into teams of no more than five students. Each team will be required to conduct discovery interviews with industry and government researchers to provide insights and analysis to the customer. Students will brief their conclusions during each class session, with a final presentation during the final class. See attached for more on the pilot.
