The Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI) awards Sean Cleveland the 2018 Young Professional of the Year award

Sean Cleveland was recognized as an SGCI Young Professional Network member, for notable achievement in the development and use of science gateways.” The SGCI Young Professional Network brings together undergraduate students, graduate students, researchers, and educators to support growth in the field of science gateways.

Supporters of the Young Professional Network serve as mentors, workforce development committee members, and hosts for Young Professionals activities. As a “Young Professional of the Year,” you are designated as an “Ambassador” and will be asked to represent SGCI Workforce Development at outreach or community events.
