AI @ HIDSI Fellows Program- Now Accepting Applications
The AI @ HIDSI Fellows program is a funded opportunity is a funded opportunity for graduate students who have a research mentor, to complement their research and learning experience through participation in workshop development, HIDSI workshops, events and professional development throughout the academic year.
Accepted students will feature their research and learning experience in the publicly advertised HIDSI Research Showcase events during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.

The Hawaiʻi Data Science Institute has an exciting lineup of workshops, featuring talks by HIDSI members, affiliate faculty and industry representatives. These workshops are free and open to all participants.
Students accepted into the AI @ HIDSI Fellows Program will have an opportunity to develop and present a workshop during the Spring 2026 semester
Our workshops are typically held in hybrid form, in Keller 103 on the UH Mānoa Campus and via Zoom on most Fridays at either 10am or 1pm.
