Tracy Bui
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and graduated from high school in 2018. After graduating, I went straight to pursue my undergraduate degree in fall 2018 at UH Manoa. During my undergraduate years, I initially pursued a BA in Art and switched to pursuing a BS in Computer Science because of my interest in computers. I am currently a graduate student at UH Manoa pursuing my MS in Computer Science.
My advisor is Dr. Jason Leigh who is a professor and Director of LAVA: the Laboratory for Advanced Visualization & Applications at UH Manoa. The LAVA lab allows for space to conduct research and development in big data visualization that can be applied in a variety of areas such as engineering and training.
My research interests consist of sustainability and applying different applications of computer science that can be used to aid in climate change.
