Abstract

This talk will cover what is Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, who can benefit and why, and explore osteopathic research, growth areas in research, and the potential applications of AI.

Bio

Dr. Yvonne Yang is a licensed Osteopathic Physician. She graduated medical school from Touro University, in Vallejo, California and completed her medical internship at Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, California.  She graduated Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine / Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (OMM/NMM) Residency at Pikeville Medical Center in Eastern Kentucky under the primary mentorship of Dr. Edward Stiles, D.O., FAAO Dist. She has served as clinical faculty at several osteopathic medical schools including Western University of Health Sciences, College of Medicine of the Pacific and Touro University, College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Yang was Dr. Stiles’ last OMM/NMM resident. Her work was the first published clinical study on Sequencing by Area of Greatest Restriction/Hindrance and Quality of Life.  She continues to collaborate closely with him to share his integrated wisdom with the medical profession in various endeavors including teaching courses, research, and multimedia projects.
