Alberto Gonzalez

Alberto Gonzalez is originally from Spain where he studied an MS. in Control Engineering and where he worked for several years as an Engineer deploying Air Controlling Systems. He moved to Hawaii 5 years ago where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the intersection of Visual Analytics, Machine Learning and Collaborative work.
As a research fellow, Alberto is currently working with the US National Security Agency (NSA) to improve the discovery and workflows of analysts extracting knowledge from large document collections.
With over 10 years of experience working with real-time collaborative complex systems both in Industry and Academic settings, Alberto loves solving difficult problems and the process of transforming ideas into real products.
Alberto is also the Co-Founder of RendezView (https://www.rendezview.io) a young technological startup that provides collaboration services for distributed teams.
