CYBERCANOE

Affiliated faculty have access to state of art collaborative workspaces as part of the Laboratory for Advanced Visualization and Applications.

Workshops that meet the demand for quantitative and computational skills on state-of-the-art topics, ranging from machine learning and databases to probabilistic programming and cloud computing. A list of past and future events is available here.

The Cyber-enabled Collaboration Analysis Navigation and Observation Environment (CyberCANOE) are rooms equipped with ultra-high-resolution display walls,  that enable teams of users to work together either locally or remotely sharing visualizations and data.

A total of 17 CyberCANOEs of varying capabilities have been deployed at several locations in Hawai‘i- including the University of Hawai‘i at West Oahu, the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo, and Honolulu Community College.
